Description
Sleepyone: Dream Emission is the completed production and first up and running portfolio of the sleepyone project. While the host is currently under-going some updates and server moves, it will be up when the move has taken place.
I started this about a year ago, going through 3 different designs before I marked upon the presented formula. This design itself has had several transitions with the last one I showcased on here but never got it coded + I wasn't fully happy with it.
The changes from this and the last are: new meaningful logo, slogan incorporated but the most relevant and important change is a complete re-design in the site structure - both visually and content wise. The layout's changed, a lot of unnecessary content removed such as the random quote, news box and random image sections I had on the main page before. The content style is also dramatically changed and the colours have been tweaked of everything else.
Each page is unique (when it's up you'll see what I mean) and incorporates a vast range of ideas I had, yet remains to conform to my style. I was tempted to make the mainpage even more unique by removing the navigation full-stop. The simple fact is that all the other areas can be navigationed to by the content but I thought I'd include it on every page for feng shui's sake.
I realise the blurry state isn't to everyone's taste and neither is the darkness to it but it's a dreamy state I've gone for as it reflects my site name (sleepyone - sleep = dreamy state etc.) and the slogan also - hence it's emphasised by its opposite - 'darkness'.
Spiral is the only one to have currently seen this finished formula develop since I feel he has a strong and better understanding and appreciation of "webdesign art" than most people and I dare to say myself
... well I call it that anyway.
The version name is "Dream Emission" because my dreams have been realised - at long last. A dream is rarely realised and I am releasing my one with this. My results this year were what I hoped for (GCSE's) and everything this year has gone ok, despite the negative aspects.

Hmm I dont like the border nor the menu. It is a coloured design, I like that! Keep up the good work.
